Primary Rate Interface (PRI)
PRI is the perfect solution for medium to large businesses that require a high-speed, intelligent connection that is versatile enough to handle applications such as voice, data and video conferencing.
PRI is an ISDN service, delivered over a high capacity circuit (T-1) that provides 23-64K B channels for voice and data traffic and a 64K D channel for signaling and call setup. This "out of band" signaling enables PRI to handle calls more efficiently than standard phone lines, resulting in a 15 to 20 percent decrease in the number of trunks otherwise needed.
SuperTrunk
SuperTrunk offers medium to large businesses with multiple lines an effective, economical, high-capacity voice solution.
SuperTrunk provides 24 digital channels delivered over a high-capacity trunk (T-1) that can interface with your PBX or key telephone system. SuperTrunk channels can be provisioned into multiple trunk groups. The flexibility of SuperTrunk allows you to custom design your communications network to interoperate with PRI and Centrex services.
Measured or Flat Rate
Choose from measured rate service where you are only charged for the calls you make or flat rate service where all local calls are included.
- Caller ID:
Caller ID lets you see who is calling so you can choose which calls to answer, whom to speak with and when. Caller ID is not available on Supertrunk service - DID number blocks:
Direct inward dial (DID) numbers allow callers to dial stations directly rather than route them through an attendant. SureWest offers DID numbers in blocks of 100. - Call by call:
A trunk group option that allows each B channel to operate as either incoming or outgoing as needed with a maximum threshold of either incoming or outgoing depending on your priority. - Alternate Route and Enhanced Alternate Route:
Never miss a call. Alternate routing sends incoming calls to a pre-programmed alternate trunk group or any ten-digit telephone number in the event of an outage or when your primary route is busy.
